Starting last week I wasn’t able to open a site for some reason. Having some time today I decided trying to delete the cookies to that site. Deleting the cookies solved the problem. I entered the site immediately.
Last year I bought some new shoes online. First I researched what was available and eventually bought the shoes. Forever after that, I am bombarded with adverts for the shoes I have just bought. What’s the point of that. I found that deleting the cookies stopped the adverts. I also found that some cookies remember useful things from one session to another like being logged into GMail. Now I use CCleaner to selectively delete the cookies that accumulate while keeping those that I find useful.
