You forgot the AMD Power Plan for Ryzen cpu’s and Windows 10 1709 and laters Ultimate Performance Power Plan.

We did not forget them. We decided to focus only on the standard power plans that exist on most PCs with Windows. We cannot cover all variations.

    Very helpful article.

What i would like to know is are these different plans / settings associated become overridden once you have plugged the laptop in?

E.g. If i have it on balanced, does the laptop automatically switch to a more high performance setting once i’ve plugged in into the mains?

I’m more concerned about CPU and general speed performance as opposed to screen dim time etc.

    Thanks
