My HP Spectre notebook has a precision touchpad. There is no touchpad section as the article indicates. I can find no way to configure left & right click areas on the touchpad only a lower right corner tap is recognized as a right click.
If you can’t find such settings in the Touchpad section of the Settings app, you can’t change the left and right click areas. Your only chance is to look for touchpad drivers on the HP support website, and see if those drivers offer the configuration options you want. Chances are you can’t change the left and right click areas. Usually this is not possible on touchpads.
