For some reason, I activated a password login to my W-8.1 computer. I just couldn’t disable that function. Somehow, I came across a local “users and group” option. I opened this area and found a password area. I began un checking boxes, and lo and behold, I didn’t have to login to open my computer. But then I couldn’t find how I arrived at this location. I opened your web site and you showed me how to open the Computer Management area and I was able to open the “password” management screen. You also have other tutorials that I will be viewing. Thanks for your dedication to helping the less knowledgeable.
“Few people use it and even fewer know of its existence.”
I’m curious about the set of people who use it but DON’T know of its existence.
