Great idea Cipria…good job!

Ciprian Adrian Rusen

Happy you like it. 😉

Mike

Instagram has already disabled this feature.

Ciprian Adrian Rusen

This is not true. We tried it as a result of your comment and it works exactly as we described in our guide.

bree

I think they must have fixed it. I’m following the instructions exactly, but I cannot get the camera button to appear no matter what…

Ciprian Adrian Rusen

They updated the Windows 10 app a couple of days ago and it now it includes a button for adding pictures. Try it out.

RL101

Exactly, this doesnt work at all. Instagram doesnt let anyone post anything anymore. It’s really stupid.

Jim Graham

One added note to this… I did as instructed and the camera button did not appear…. UNTIL I hit the REFRESH button!! all is good. Hope this helps others that find this not to work initially.

Atikah

oh my God, I’ve tried so many times and did not succeed until I found your comment. Refresh is the key! thank you, Sir!

On Windows 10 I still can’t post pics as I can from Android. I can post to individuals but still can’t post publicly. Crap App.

Janet

I have read every article like this, am in Mobile Mode, yet there still is no camera button or +. Windows 8.1 pc. Going crazy trying to post anything at all.

Chris

How does this work on firefox on Linux? The inspect element is different.

debola

useless…because you guyz didnt tell us how to do it on opera

Question – is the Win10 requirement a Touch Screen, or is it specifically touch-enabled-by-default devices like the Surface? For example if I have a regular PC with a touch-capable monitor, will Instagram let me post?
Thanks!

As long as you have some touch input, it should work. However, we cannot guarantee that it works.

I tried this method and the cropping only allowed a square to upload. So how can I upload a vertical 4×5 ratio photo without cropping to a square and losing the top and bottom of photo which could be a portrait. Can you explain or this method won’t work for that? Instagram used to allow uploading 4×5 ratio photos in vertical.

Morton

What do you mean, emulate an android phone in the debugger? What on earth are you trying to say? A good idea to explain to people how this is done???
