I use the Digital Live Tile Clock.

The tile is pretty.

It also has the problem that there are times when it’s live tile doesn’t show the time at all.

I have to “set live tile” again to bring it work again.

I am going to give the Clock app and the Tile Time app a try.

I prefer the Clock app ’cause it has the snapview functionality.

The Digital Live Tile Clock looks interesting. I will give it a try later today. If others are interested in trying it, they can find it here: http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/digital-live-tile-clock/0adb0574-02df-4fef-9951-e585c1abaee0

me again, williamwclee
just drop by to say that Digital Live Tile Clock app has an upgrade for windows 8.1.
by the way, just got an advice from that tile clock author … that is, always allow the clock to run background on the lock screen [via its permission settings, slide that “on”]. Then the clock will have a lesser chance to fail.

My start screen has the word “Start” above and to the left of the tiles. It would be great to replace this with time/date.

The Clock ( by Jujuba) is a con. You think it is free, but it shows you flickering ads constantly on your screen, and you have to pay to remove the ads.

I just press WINDOWS key and C good enough for me!
