@HaughtTroy

in version 1909, if you left a program open and shut down, it will open up when you power back up. but in new version 2004, it stopped working that way. i hate it. please help.

Did you previously use hibernate and then switch to shut down?

Task Scheduler. Click Start. Type “Scheduler”. Click on “Task Scheduler App”. The Task Scheduler allows you not only to trigger the launch of any app upon login, but also to trigger any app, as the user, upon system startup, whether or not the user is logged in. You can also schedule tasks periodically by date/time, during idle time, on certain system events, etc. There is a ton more options too numerous to list here.

I found on the internet another possibility : add a line in de registry (regedit : Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ; add a value and put the exact place of the program in the data field between “” (example “C:\directory\program.exe”

That’s a very technical solution that very few people can implement. However, thanks for sharing! 🙂
