to emulate android phone in IE you’ll need to configure a custom mobile agent string

1 follow instructions up to emulation,
    2.browser profile: select windows phone
    3. user agent string: custom
paste your custom string into “Custom String” field.

Feel free to test out the Pixel XL agent string below for yourself.
    Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.1.1; Pixel XL Build/NMF26F) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.91 Mobile Safari/537.36

cash.me website (cash app) won’t let me add bank card details using my desktop pc – followed your tutorial for Chrome but still saying I need to use a mobile device (smh) so frustrating

  • Galina says:

I did it for Chrome to use Instagram fully. But now my Skype don’t want to work. I tried to go back click mobile icon, it gets black instead blue but Skype doesn’t work. It looks like Skype is looking for mobile device.

The idea is to do this only for Instagram and once you are done using it, switch back to normal browsing, so that Skype and other websites work well.
