Huawei P20 Pro stands out through its photography hardware and features. It has three cameras on the back, one on the front, Leica lens, ISO sensitivity that\'s higher than that of any other smartphone, and artificial intelligence dedicated to taking great pictures. All these sound impressive but what do they mean when you take a picture in real life or when you record a song you like during a concert? To show you what Huawei P20 Pro can do in the hands of an average user, and how great it is at photography and video recording, we used it in several situations where many people will use it too. Here is why Huawei P20 Pro is the best smartphone for photography, in 2018: We used this smartphone for two weeks and took it with us while traveling to several mountain areas. We also did a night walk across the city, went to a live concert, and went out socializing with friends and family. Each time we had the Huawei P20 Pro with us and used it to take pictures and record videos. You probably use your smartphone the same way, and you want to make good-looking photographs and record beautiful videos. Film your favorite song(s) in a live concert When you go to a concert of your favorite artist, you are likely to use your smartphone to take a few pictures and even record a video or two with some of the songs you like most. We took the Huawei P20 Pro to a live concert of a local Romanian band, in Hard Rock, Bucharest. If you want to hear how a live recording sounds and looks, see the clip below. The band sings in Romanian, but the clip is good enough for you to get an idea about this smartphone\'s live recording capabilities. We did not alter the original recording. We uploaded it straight to YouTube. Taking selfies and portraits We are in the \"selfie era\" and many people like making photo portraits of themselves. We went on a few trails with Huawei P20 Pro, and we had some changing weather. We loved how this smartphone was capable of capturing the dramatism of the sky, automatically, due to its MAster AI system. The mountains and the sky are captured in their true beauty and magic: Filming and taking pictures during the night Night photography is a weak spot for most smartphones. That is not the case for Huawei P20 Pro. It is one of the best smartphones for low-light photography. Its high ISO sensitivity can reach 102400 (similar to a DSLR camera), and this means that it can take pictures even in the darkest environments. We walked the streets of our city during the night, and we took a few beautiful pictures. We also used it during a campfire, in the night. You can see the results below: We also enjoyed its super slow-motion recording mode. It records videos at the 32x speed and 960 frames per second.
