Please could you explain your rating codes. They seem to range from 1 to 5 but I can’t find anything to say which end of the scale is good and which is bad. Is a rating of 1 good (i.e. the top rating) or if a rating of 5 best (i.e. 5 times more marks than a rating of 1)?
Most people probably don’t use expensive all inclusive Antivirus Programs. It would be nice to see a comparison of Free Antivirus Programs

5 is the best, 1 is the worst.
I would have liked to see Microsoft Defender in the mix as that is what Windows hangs its hat on for security.
This comparison covers commercial security products, with complete protection tools. Windows Defender offers limited protection when compared to them.
I use Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. Seems to work for me but maybe I would be the last to know!
Why is ESET 5 and Kaspershy 4?
I don’t see anything listed with ESET better.
