Windows 10 Home doesn’t give me an option to download language pack for other languages. Is there a way to work around that?

This is strange. It works in Home too. We tested this several times.

Does not work for Windows 10 Home Single Language.
Perhaps, you need to tell the Window’s Image must be in English.
Below are the steps you can safely and easily perform:
1- Go to https://www.itechtics.com/windows-10-version-1709-language-packs-direct-download-links/
2- Download the language you need
3- Run CMD as admin and execute the below commands:
A- dism /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:YOURCBFILEPATH
B- dism /Online /Get-Packages | findstr /c:”LanguagePack”
(The above command will display all the language packages installed on your pc.
C- Locate the language you want to remove from your Windows’ Image
D- Run the command: dism /Online /Remove-Package /PackageName:THE PACKAGE NAME YOU WANT TO REMOVE. (It should start with Microsoft .. and make sure to enter the whole package name).
E- Once removed, dism will ask you if you want to restart. If you still have unneeded packages press N and continue removing the extra language packages you want. When you’re done, press Y to restart.

This will definitely work.

I wonder if it’s possible to create a custom language pack for the missing languages and how… there’s a guide that can help me?

the problem is that when I go to Region & Language to change the display language, English is available but does not support that display option. It only supports keyboard and one more. The current default language support all 4 options. So, where do I download a new language pack for my chinese laptop, who only support chinese display?

Hi,

Thank you for this post. I am using Irish Gaelic, as I am moving to Ireland and am learning the language. This was quite helpful.
