What if you’re looking at doing a lot of video watching and reading blogs? Would this be appropriate?

A month of use has found it to be able for things we usually do. Surf / email / videos … just great. easy to carry, use.
I have ONE significant caveat. The plug on the AC adapter is not standard and the Asus store doesn’t carry replacement AC adapters. In addition, all of the many adapters for sale on the net (having the same Asus number as on the adapter itself) show a barrel-style plug rather than the micro-usb-LOOKING (but not-it’s 19V, not 5V) square one required. I like to keep adapters at the locations of heaviest use so I can just carry the laptop. Can not find one anywhere and several emails to Asus simply say they don’t carry the replacement adapters…sigh
Avoid this computer like the plague. There is NO replacement charger, and the ASUS website doesn’t even show this computer as a model.

I want a replacement for a 1999 PC running Windows XP. Portablity is not an issue although it would be convenient to be able to take it into a different room. I am concerned about 1. the non availability of CD reader for installing printer software for HP printer 2., can I attach separate mouse and keyboard;
3.non standard adapter making it difficult to buy replacement if needed.
If this is not a suitable choice, can anyone suggest a better (fairly low cost) one. Ido not play games on it, but do surf the internet, and write and print quite a lot of documents (using open Office),

does Asus X205TA can upgrade windows 8 to windows 10
Amri yes it is eligible for a windows 10 upgrade. In fact, I just did, I am using windows 10 right now. Just make sure that you have enough free space when you start the installation.
There is no win 10 app in the right lower corner on my new x205. How do I install win 10

I bought the device recently, am not able to connect to the projector. I tried with HDMI to VGA cable but of no use. The device hanged and the mouse pointer is not moving.
