totally unhappy with one drive…. it’s telling me it is full and that i need to delete photos in order to input new ones OR i could pay for additional space… PAY MONEY for something that was FREE with WINDOWS 8… this is something i do not like at all…. isnt there a FREE way to get more space on OneDrive?

If you buy office 365 for up to 6 users you get 6TBs. I am wondering why if only one person is using it you only get 1TB. I feel that Microsoft should let that person use all 6TB if no one else is using it. After all I am paying for the 6TB.

Another (too obvious?) way of increasing space is by decreasing space! i.e. Delete large files you really don’t need from OneDrive. We were backing up our image files to OneDrive, and it turns out that that eats over 6 GB – a sizable chunk.

The main reason I don’t use OneDrive that much is that its major advantage is also its major bane – backing up, a lot! AS a developer, things crash all the time, and I want to go back to a previous state. However, OneDrive is backing things up as quick as I can type, so I can’t recover my pre-error state of the system. I don’t use OneDrive on critical systems, but use Ctrl-Z a lot!

if i subscribed to 100 or 1000 TB plan, does that mean that i should pay monthly to keep that 100 or 1000 TB space in my account ? or it will be my own space if i paid once?
in other words, if i subscribed, and i did’t pay, will the extra storage be gone and i get back to the 5 free GB?
