  1. DO NOT USE NETSPOT says:

DO NOT USE NETSPOT. IT DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES AND WILL NAG YOU TO UPGRADE.

  2. Roy K says:

I AGREE, DO NOT USE NETSPOT. THE FREE VERSION DOES NOTHING MORE THAN OTHER BETTER FREE NET ANALYSIS TOOLS, BUT NETSPOT DOES EVEN LESS THAN THEY DO.

AND DON’T BOTHER UPGRADING TO THE HOME VERSION, BECAUSE IT ALSO DOES NOT DO WHAT IT PREPORTS TO DO.

ALSO, DON’T BOTHER UPGRADING TO THE PRO VERSION, BECAUSE IT DOES STAY INSTALLED OR ACTIVATED. I KNOW, I WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO TRY IT. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ACTIVATED USING THE PRO ACTIVATION CODE. BUT, AS SOON AS I CLOSED THE APP AND REOPENED THE APP, THE FREE VERSION APPEARED—WHICH DOES NOTHING. I ENTERED THE ACTIVATION CODE AGAIN, AND AGAIN IT DID NOT WORK. I TRIED THE ACTIVATION CODE A THIRD TIME AND TOLD THAT I USED THE ACTIVATION CODE TOO MANY TIMES.

SO, I PAID FOR SOMETHING THAT WON’T WORK. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF DEMANDING A REFUND, BUT THAT IS A PAIN IN THE REAR END. LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO REFUTE THE CHARGES WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY.
