We are all affected by COVID-19, so it makes sense to want to get live updates about the pandemic, especially if you\'re living in the United States, the latest Coronavirus epicenter. However, finding reliable sources online can prove to be a challenge. If you live in the US and want to keep an eye on how the situation is progressing, here are five places to get live updates for Covid-19: 1. CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) For those living in the US, CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) should be the first stop for Coronavirus updates. They provide an impressive amount of official information about the pandemic. If you visit their home page, you can find out more about COVID-19, how you can protect yourself, and how you can care for people at home, while also getting tips on coping with the stress of the situation. For fresh news, we recommend you access the COVID-19 Cases & Latest Updates page, where you can learn about the number of cases and testing in the US, get a situation summary, and more. Scroll down on this page, and, on the left-hand side, you can even sign-up to receive email updates about COVID-19 directly from the CDC. Get US updates from the CDC 2. World Health Organization (WHO) While not US specific, WHO offers a reliable overview of what is happening with COVID-19 worldwide. On their Coronavirus disease 2019 page, you can find tons of data about the pandemic and watch live press conferences from the health organisation\'s headquarters in Geneva. On top of useful advice and situation reports, the page offers a database with the latest scientific findings and knowledge on COVID-19, and there\'s even a Mythbusters section aimed at debunking some of the current theories out there. Get worldwide updates from WHO 3. Live Science Live Science is a science news website that provides reliable data and is referenced by the US National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). It comes with a Coronavirus in the US page, where you can get updates on the pandemic\'s evolution throughout the country. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can see a list of case counts for each state. Access your state for more info about your area, including the number of cases in each county. Get updates on your state and county 4. Worldometer If you like charts and raw data, Worldometer is the right place for you. The site provides counters and real-time statistics on different topics, including the Coronavirus pandemic. For info about the US, access their COVID-19 United States page, which gets new updates roughly every 5 minutes. You get info about the new, active, and total cases diagnosed so far, as well as the number of new and total deaths in each state.
