Sounds like you have a very slow internet connection. What exactly are you downloading, from where, using what?

If I recall correctly, having upgraded less than a week ago, it took me from between three to five hours. And I am not simply referring to downloading but actually installing. I was very curious. Perhaps having download the upgrade for so long Windows took its time also installing all of the patches and upgrades to Windows 11 that it determined neccessary to immediately install alongside.

I performed a clean install of Windows 11 last week having previously updated from Windows 10. My Samsung 1TB SSD 970 EVO Plus M.2, PCIe NVMe Windows system drive coupled with AMD Ryzen 5 5600G and TUF Gaming B550-Plus (WiFi) and 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM completed the installation in about 10 minutes and I have been very happy with the result having naturally reconfigured all my system folders back to my D: data 2GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive. Such a joy compared to my previous PC where Windows was on the same drive as my data and I had to restore all that data following a clean install!
Happy you had a positive experience. Installing Windows is a surprisingly speedy process. 😀

Brand new computer, setting up and it asked to upgrade to windows 11….it’s been 30 minutes and it’s so disappointing to wait this long since it’s brand new.

Took over 12 hrs to download/install win 11 from win 10

Started downloading it at 11 pm and it is now 4:23 AM and it is still not loaded!
