How can it be that:
“Pirated versions of Windows may initially be activated and start working…”
And:
“… it is safe to assume that, if your Windows is activated, most probably it is also genuine.”
So:
How do I know if my key license is genuine my first week of use??
Unfortunately the rogues at Microsoft have a piece of software that can de-activate Windows at any time, apparently randomly. This initially puts up a lie, claiming that ‘This copy of Windows is not genuine’ then it starts a timer forcing the desperate user to purchase a new licence.
It may be considered a scam on Microsoft’s part but it certainly represents a company acting in bad faith.
Perhaps, your window is activated shown, but it may be doubtful of having genuine window because the genuine window can be cracked. If somebody has produced the product key from a computer shop not authorised dealer.
none of these methods work for me. I can’t use any ui so even the slmgr method doesn’t work because nothing pops up, or can pop up for me to see. I even tried piping the results out to text but that too is blank.
in your article you have transposed the letters in quotation ” slgmr /xpr ”
it should be like the picture slmgr. I copy > pasted an noticed the difference.
Hi, While checking from Control Panel my windows activation section saying windows is activated. But I tried using slui.exe in windows 8.1 it gives me a popup asking for Product Key.
So what info should I believe?
I am really sad to see the genuine activation process supported earlier for Windows 7 and Office 2010 gone. Though the present activate method looks good, but I doubt whether this will kill piracy. Can I leave a link on Windows 8 Hibernate which will be useful to your users.

There is none, except what we wrote in this article.
This is the scary part. I wish there is something that will tell it like win 7. I mean a hologram to show it’s genuine
I have a virus on my computer, but micro$oft keeps insisting that it’s window 10

Window is activated but not genuine
How can I get a valid digital license of window 10 pro version 1709
You buy one from a shop that sells Windows 10 Pro licenses.

Believe in control panel . Maybe the slui.exe application is fake or asking product key for its installation .
Hope it helps you to activate your system, i have tried it , very good ,search for it from bing *** windows 8.1 key sale &&&.
Very well written and informative.
