I think you have it all wrong. I want a start menu just like Win7 – condensed and in small print so I can see as many apps as possible in one narrow column. I don’t want any stinking tiles !!!! No damn tiles !!!! They waste screen space! Let the Mac users wallow in eye candy. Windows 7 forever.
I have spent over 2 hours and I surrender. I have disabled Cortana. I want Windows Search to only look for local files & folders … nothing else. I have read every suggestion I could find to no avail. An article on this would make me eternally grateful.
