You can sync your smartphone’s browser with the one on your PC, and then export the passwords from your PC.

For Edge you can sign into your Microsoft account (or make one) then turn on Sync settings. On your destination computer sign into the same account and turn on those settings and your bookmarks/passwords/cookies/autofill forms will be moved over

The procedure outlined here for Opera does not exist. Please update this post.

After a year of trying to use Microsoft Edge, I’ve run into too many compatibility issues. I need to switch to Chrome since it’s become far more of a business industry standard. I’d love to export a year’s worth of passwords the same way I did my favorites, but I guess I’ll be doing that manually. That or Microsoft could use their weight to convince more companies to make their web platforms and software interact with Edge properly, either one would be fine with me!

I seem to be the go-to tech support person for elderly in-laws. They constantly have problems with forgetting PWs or having the OS/Browser lose their saved PWs. ( Not sure how this happens, but it seems to be a common problem for them!) It would be nice to capture all of their PWs for their needed web services and then we would not need to reset their PWs so frequently. I have not used your instructions yet, as they access some web sites using Chrome, and others using Edge, and it seems like backing up the Edge PW information is not so simple. Thanks to you for posting the information on this topic!
