I had been using Paint, and its precursor, Paintbrush since the Windows 3.1 days. I had learned to do amazing things, using Paint, while also using Word as a paint tool. Why Microsoft in the brain took out this feature is beyond me. That is one reason that I refuse to upgrade to Windows 10. This article gave me several more!

Re. compulsory updates, they can be stopped if you have Pro 10 by way of the Group Policy Editor. I have done this on all my machines that are running Pro 10 ever since I had major problems with updates. See: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-stop-updates-installing-automatically-windows-10
Scroll down for the Group Policy Editor instructions, if you have Pro.

Classic Freecell, the new version with animation is just junk!
Windows 10 has also discontinued Journal and stopped supporting .NET 1.1 apps
