Why would you make the statement that “The frequency transmission range of the speaker lies between 20 – 20,000 Hz”? If taken literally, that statement is meaningless, since all audible sound lies between 20 and 20,000 Hz. So you could say the same thing about a pair of tin cans connected with a string!
If you want to describe the fidelity of the speaker, you need to identify frequency response within specific amplitude limits (typically 3 dB). Incidentally, Sony does not even mention frequency response on their web site, and with good reason – it’s most likely not very good due to the design (and cost) of the unit.

You’re quite right. However, this is also one of the technical specs, and we mentioned it in the technical specifications section of this review. We’ve looked at all the specs published by Sony on their website and indeed, the information you mention was not there.

Before you run out to buy: the SRS-X11 Bluetooth does NOT work with Win7. Sony’s response: upgrade your system software.
