Odd review. did you actually try to break the speaker? The “neck” is pretty thick, has no flex or movement and would be near impossible to break under normal use, If you drop it and it breaks that’s your own fault, these things are not designed for their strength.
I didn’t find the buttons lagged either and the text on the box and the user guide was in English. You obviously got an imported one that as meant for the Chinese market. Overall a great speaker for the price, I love the design (if you don’t then buy something different) and you’re going to be pushed to find any speaker of this size that doesn’t distort at full volume – buy a bigger speaker if you want loud) but I’ve heard much worse at lower volumes from more expensive speakers. I highly recommend this, nice sound, great design and a good product for the price.
