BTW, Jump lists can also be launched by dragging and icon in the taskbar upwards. This is with a cool transparent fading effect !

I love Aero Snap. It’s unequivocally my favorite thing about Windows 7. I also have setups running Windows XP and OS X and I always try to use Aero Snap without thinking. You don’t realize how useful it is until you don’t have it anymore.

After using Win 7 for a few hours, I spent a few days searching the web for ways to restore the quick launch and remove some of these Great new features!!! I don’t want the task bar loaded up with icons that I have to wade through when I want to use a program. The aero peek is annoying so I turned it off (the aero snap is even worse). I want to drag a window so that only a small part of it is visible so I can get part of the information to use i another window and when I release the mouse button The window jumps back. I have to do it several times to get the window where I can use it.

The bad part is the I can see where some of these features could be helpful at certain times (or for certain people) but right now they are being forced down our throats. Make these features available and easy to turn on and off and I might be able to use some of them. The way it is right now, I have to jump through hoops to remove them and because of that, I will never make use of them.

Maybe YOU don’t want to go back, but the new task bar and the missing quick launch toolbar is a serious flaw. I hate the step backwards. Plus they got rid of the media player mini toolbar too. Honestly, MS screwed up badly with Windows 7. Give me XP anyday. Even Vista is better than thic crap.
