How to set a proxy server in Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge uses the proxy settings that you have set in Windows 10. To change them, follow the instructions detailed in this guide: How to set up the proxy server settings in Windows 10. However, if you want to use Microsoft Edge to access Windows 10's proxy settings, you can do that too. In Microsoft Edge click or tap the "Settings and more" in the top-right corner of the app window. It is represented by three dots. In the menu that opens, click or tap Settings.

Click or tap Advanced in the left side of the menu, scroll down and then click Open proxy settings.

If you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, click the button for the menu Customize and control Opera in the top-left corner of Opera. Then, click Settings.

In the Internet Options window, click the LAN settings button, from the Connections tab.

How to turn off the use of a proxy server
If you have changed your Windows device or you have changed the network connection so that you no longer need a proxy server, you can easily disable it.
For Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera go to the Internet Options window, as shown in the first section of this tutorial. Then, go to the Connections tab. Here, click the "LAN settings" button on the bottom. Uncheck "Use automatic configuration script" or "Use a proxy server for your LAN," depending on which proxy setting was used, and click OK in the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window and then in the Internet Options window.
In Firefox, use the same procedure as for setting a proxy server. In the Connection Settings window, check "No proxy" and click OK.
