Windows 7 is what i am running home premium. It will not let me delete guest account. It only gives me the option to turn off. This is ok but with it turned off the processes from it still run on the computer slowing it down. Is there a way that i can completely remove guest account?
You cannot delete the Guest account. It can be only turned off. That’s the behavior coded by Microsoft in Windows 7. “Guest” processes should not run on any other user. Are you sure this is happening? Can you show a screenshot with more details about them?
After you have turned off the Guest account and rebooted your computer once, when you log back with any other user account, no processes should run under the guest user.

When trying to open a new User account
all I get is.
The User Profile Service service failed the logon
User profile cannot be loaded
Why?
Honestly… i don’t know why it happens. I have from time to time the same problem on my computer @ work. To fix it, i simply log off, wait for 3 seconds and log back again. Then it works. I’ll try to do some research on this issue & if we get to understand it better, will post a tutorial about it.
I found this article usefull….
We’re glad you found it useful. And thanks for letting us know.
was looking for a step by step article… and found it
Hey, so if i create a standard account from an administrative account, then the standard account can delete itself?
No, it can not. Only the administrator can delete other user accounts.
