I can not figure out how to just make my slideshow transitions ‘random’. I don’t want to have to select a different one for each slide. I know the old moviemaker program just had a random tab to select, but when I go in to animations, there’s no way to select that. Do you have a solution?

i am setting my blurr animation to 4 seconds. but when it plays it only goes for a short period of time. about 1 second. why is it doing this when it clearly shows that i have it set for 4 seconds?

Is there a way to customize the color of the effects? For example I’m using “contemporary fade 1” for the title. A blue/grey bar slides across the screen, I would like to change it to red so that it more closely matches my website. Is this possible?

As I begin a new project the the full annimation pane opens up including all the transitions, pan and zoom, etc. As soon ss I apply the first annimation, the animation pane either only shows a few options when fully opened or only shows the pan and zoom feature. Also I can not turn the apply to all off in any of the annimation panes. I have worked with many movie projects some professional productions but this one problem persists.

Is there a way to add cartoon/animation to a video? I saw a fisherman land a redfish and he had a toon pig with the number 1 on it appear in the movie which was really cool. Id love to learn if this is possible….

I was able to finish a project with animations and visual effects. However, when I saved it as a movie, the animations were lost. Can anyone help me please? Thanks!

I have made a project using the video maker (windows live) and I loved everything about it. I was ready to hit save, so I saved it using the high-def display. I then realized that my animations were not in the final movie. I even tried saving my project as “recommended for this project.” Same results, no animations. I then went back to the edit mode of my video (documents). I viewed my project in full screen, and saw that it cut out my animations/transitions. It all came to me that the way my project portrayed itself in full screen, is the way the video saved. Watching my video off of full screen, all my animations and effects were there. Can someone help me? PLEASE? I am trying to save my project as a final movie with ALL my animations, as to me, my animations give pop to my video.

This program is a piece of s*it! I need to zoom in twice or three times more but I can’t because this screwed program doesn’t give me chance to edit the animation! -_-

I have added all my animations to my pictures and the triangle is present in the corner of each but they don’t play when I view my movie. Help!!

I think windows movie maker is the easiest program to use. But truly I’m tired of the effects and transitions.. They get quite boring after a while…

Is it really not possible to add new effects to the windows movie maker in windows 8?(I have windows 10, but windows movie maker doesn’t exist for windows 10). I would really love to use an “old movie effect”, but none of the excisting effects work that way. To be honest, I’m not that big of a fan of the effects now. But other than that, I really like the movie maker.
