Since Windows 8 themes are not compatible with Windows 7, we would like to return with new themes for Windows 7, inspired by the new Windows 8 Release Preview. The first theme includes the desktop wallpapers used in Windows 8 Release Preview, while the second includes the wallpapers used for the lock screen.

The Images Included in the Windows 8 Release Preview Theme

There are only a few new images included in Windows 8 Release Preview. The first you will notice as soon as you open the desktop.

Another new image is used on the default lock screen. I consider it the best looking image included in Windows 8 Release Preview.

Both themes have been customized to reflect the look of the Windows 8 Release Preview as much as possible. You will notice that Aero is less visible and that the accent is moved from transparency to more solid colors.
