every things was working fine with my last very simple samsung gt-m 3710 but after i purchased nokia 500 belle smart phone every things has gone wrong
my phone and laptop can pair very readily but each time i do one of the task u mentioned above bluetooth connection lost after seconds.
in media player mode the phone and pc shows that devices are connected the LOST COnNECTION
the big bluetooth icon in the midle of the page between device and laptop begin to roll and then it stops suddenly and the antena bar thurns red
i have seen this issue in many forums but no solution
help me with that please

Did you install the Nokia software for connecting your phone with the computer? Did you remove the old samsung software?

Hi, yes the device control p[anel is very useful but, it is not available when i use a bluetooth dongle on a pc without a bluetooth chip. how can i get the bluetooth device control panel to open, is it to do with the driver? Many thanks Mike

Hi, I have always been able to transfer files to my phone using bluetooth control but when transferring files to computer I fail to get a notification of the transfer and it fails? How do I get the notifications, gone through all settings mentioned? I have a samsung n150 netbook. Thanks.

hey nothing of my bluetooth looks like yours do you have any particular software or update you used ???
Hi, It’s neat to have my PC works as speakerphone of my smartphone (w/ Android 2.2). Is it possible to do it in reverse way? For example, I want to use my smartphone (without Bluetooth headset) works as the speaker of my PC(both are Bluetooth enabled). Thanks.

I still have problem. i can easily send files from phone to pc. but it doesnt work inverse. when i right click on a file and select the paired device (android smartphone) nothing happens! by the way u recommended in”BT device control” , when i click on file transfer nothing happens again. Drivers for bluetooth are installed. whats the problem?!

Hi…the file transfer option is not appearing on my laptop.i have windows 8 installed and i am using bluetooth adapter it’s paired with my iphone but i can’t see the file sending option.if anyone knows how to fix it let me know plz… thnx

When I double click on my phone icon under devices and printers the Bluetooth Device Control does not open. Just the device’s properties
I have the same problem , my mobile name is off and not open. WHY???

I have an LGL 41c phone and I’m able to send and receive files but when I try to connect music and audio I get an error message “Connection Failed” Error establishing connection, can anyone help please
