Microsoft to drop Nokia, Windows Phone brands: Yet another report - This week's most important news says that Microsoft will drop the Nokia brand very soon and, most probably, the Windows Phone brand too. We will only have Windows as a brand for smartphones, tablets, hybrid devices and desktop computers.

Leaked Windows 9 video shows new Notification Center in action - A video leaked on the web, demonstrating the upcoming notification center from Windows 9. Obviously, its development is an early state and the final version may look different and will offer more features. You can see a demo in the video embedded below.

Windows 9: Virtual desktops get a video tour - Windows 9 will also feature the concept of virtual desktops. You can see it in action, in the video embedded below. Please do take into consideration that this is an early build and, most probably, this feature will be improved until Windows 9 is released.

New videos provide closer look at Windows 9 Start menu - Another leaked video demonstrates how the Start Menu will look and work in Windows 9. Again, this is an early build so things may change until the final version is released.

OneDrive now supports 10 GB files - OneDrive is getting better and better: you can now upload files up to 10 GB using the desktop applications for Windows and Mac, all of the mobile apps, and the OneDrive website. Also, OneDrive now features faster syncing and easier sharing, straight from File Explorer.

Opera Mini browser beta for Windows Phone now available - Opera Mini is now available to all Windows Phone users as a beta version. You can get it from here.
