
3.Turn off the WiFi

4.Turn off data connection

In Windows Phone 8.1, go to Sett ings and tap mobile+SIM.
Now, use the switch to turn off Data connection.
In Windows 10 Mobile, open the Settings app and go to Network & wireless -> Mobile & SIM.
Use the switch to turn off the Data connection.
Alternatively, you can use the quick actions to turn off data connection. Tap the Mobile data button until Off is displayed and it turns grey.
5. Turn on battery saver
The battery saver feature is able to extend your battery life by limiting the background activity and push notifications when your device is low on battery power. Usually, the feature turns on automatically when the battery falls below 20%, but you can turn it on anytime you want.
In Windows Phone 8.1, go to the Settings screen and tap battery saver.
At the bottom of the screen, use the switch to turn on " Now until next charge".
In Windows 10 Mobile, open the Settings app and go to System -> Battery.
Close to the bottom of the screen, use the switch to turn on " Battery saver status until next charge".
You can do this a lot faster, if you press the Battery saver button in the notification area, until On is displayed.
