There is a reason why we did not include msinfo.exe into this tutorial: it doesn’t share reliable information when it comes to the version of Windows.

you might not remember “winver” I know I won’t.
So I tried “windows version” & also “version windows”
Yep you guessed, neither search was recognised.
The message was: can’t find windows & can’t find version.
My response – pathetic!
Windows 10 Pro
1709 Redstone 3
I figured my school would supply laptops with the education version of windows, instead we got the Pro version. Can’t complain, it runs well.

This article is a good start, but you missed the last element. The Build number.
Version number is enough to figure out features. But Build is essential when trouble shooting. Because some bugs are fixed BEFORE the next Version is released. And some are recognized by MS and documented in KB articles associated with Build numbers.
Please enhance this article to include Build Numbers.
That is not a feature update for Windows 10. It is:
“Microsoft is rolling out June 2020 cumulative update to devices running the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (version 2004). As is the case with all Patch Tuesday releases, it doesn’t contain any new features and it will download automatically on your device to fix and correct issues present in the original build.”

Nobody from Microsoft is going to call you to urge you to update. It is a fraud, most probably.
