I use a screensaver – YoWindow – which shows the current weather after 5 minutes. I like it and it customizeable with your own photo, but that takes a bit of tweaking. I also have my Power Options set to shut my monitor off after 20 minutes of no activity.

OLED and QLED can be spurb monitor designs but they may be subject to similar problems as LEDs. See https://www.cnet.com/how-to/oled-screen-burn-in-what-you-need-to-know-now/ . It is not a concern for most users who do not view a static image for long periods of time.

For fun I like to use the free Microsoft screensaver Photos even if it is no longer supported with Themes per https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/planning/windows-10-deprecated-features . It’s a great way to see an old forgotten image on the screen again, if only briefly. To set it up, press Win-s to search for screensaver and use control panel to choose and customize the Photos screensaver.
