Hey just wondering how is this keyboard different to normal key boards such as the Medion86444 wireless keyboards?

I have experienced a different feel when I use the keyboard compared to the medion one. It does not feel the same when I press keys. The gaming keyboard of Asus makes my finger tips relaxed and it helps me release stress but I don’t know why. What is the science behind the asus gaming keyboard. What makes my fingers less tired when I use the keyboard of Asus?

Can someone please help me out here. The ergonomics are much better than the medeon keyboard. I’d just want to know how the keys are made to improve comfort. I don’t know how to explain this. That’s why I need someones help to tell me how this happens….

Its just feels really good when I type text in the notepad.

I want to understand the science behind the keys when they are pressed. The people who made the keyboard know this because maybe they have studied biology and know what can help reduce stress of the body. Id also like to know what in the keyboards makes me proud about it. When my fingers are hovering over the keys they feel warmed up. I feel my fingertips are getting relaxed every time I push the keys down. When they are released they make this “TIK” sound which helps me release stress. There must be a difference between the keys of the asus keyboard and the medion keyboards. Its more expensive for a reason. The medon one costs around $15.00 Aud while this one costs 100 dollars!

Hi Raghav,

First of all, thanks for reading us! Mechanical keyboards are very different than non-mechanical ones from both a technological point of view (manufacturing and mechanics) and a user experience one. There are many different types of keys that are used in mechanical keyboards that offer different experiences when typing.

To get a better understanding, please give this a read: http://www.tested.com/tech/accessories/460198-you-should-use-mechanical-keyboard/ and this: http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.php/2012/12/an-introduction-to-cherry-mx-mechanical-switches/ .

It’s not easy to explain the science behind the mechanical keyboards, but if you read the links above you should get a better view of how they work and why they are different.

Thanks again for reading our work and we hope you’ll find even more useful information here on 7Tutorials!

There is no LED saver (similar to monitor screen saver to save energy) when no keyboard activity – Asus has no plan to rectify firmware in email they sent to me

OTHER MAJOR ANNOYANCE
ONLY THE TOP CHARACTER IS CORRECTLY ILLUMINATED ON A KEY THE LOWER CHARACTER IS EXTREMELY DULL

EG

1. THE COMMA ON THE < KEY is dull 2. macro record text ON right alt key IS DULL 3. all numbers BELOW !@#$%^&*() ARE DULL (UNLIKE NUMERIC KEYPAD)
