How to Buy Apps From the Windows Phone Store

Open the Windows Phone Store by using its Start screen tile or its entry in the Apps view.

In the Store, find the app that you wish to buy.

Then tap the app to open its page in the Store.

Among other details regarding the app you selected, you will also see its price displayed beneath the name of the app.

On the bottom of the app's main screen you will notice two buttons: try and buy. If you're not yet sure you want to buy the app, you can install a trial version, by tapping the try button. If you are sure that you want to purchase the app, tap the buy button.

Next, if you chose to buy the app, you are asked to confirm the purchase. Notice that the default payment option you've set in your Wallet app is already selected.

If all is OK, tap again the buy button to confirm your purchase. Windows Phone will briefly display a screen while your purchase is committed and then it will simply start to download and install the app.

On the Confirm Purchase screen, if you don't want to use the default payment option or you'd like to add a new one, tap Add or switch payment methods.

This action will open a new screen, where you can select another payment method from your Wallet or you can add a new method by tapping the plus button, found on the bottom of the screen.

If you chose to add a new payment method, Windows Phone will open the Wallet app, where you can add a new credit card, debit card, PayPal account or other payment options.
