In my first step after I open the devices , Bluetooth is omitted in the list . and before I’m using it so this show me my computer have the Bluetooth software but I don’t knew what happened. I can’t opened the Bluetooth

Hi there!

I did exactly as indicated in this page, step by step. Then, my phone appeared “connected” on my computer bluetooth list. So, it did detect my phone. But after, like, two seconds in the “connected” status, it switched back to “paired”. Impossible to browse files of my mobile from my computer (neither to browse my computer from my android), and no any error message to help me. I will never understand why bluetooth sometimes decides to fail silently like that. For the moment I still find the USB cable technology more reliable, as a whole…

My Android phone and Win 10 PC are paire. Great. Beyond that, they’re not doing anything at all with each other. Windoze doesn’t see the phone or folders in Explorer. So, what next?

pbug56

OK – your Android phone is connected to your Win 10 PC. What can you do with that connection – and how?

pranu

nice work ppl….

Andy

Neither pc nor phone can see each other!
I followed your steps above to the letter…

Utterly moronic. Device is connected/paired, but now way to actually do anything since Windows doesn’t appear to see the device in explorer or elsewhere.

But still, you cannot use your freaking PC to make calls from Android!
Feature that was removed from windows 7 and 8 for not evident reason.

I am trying to get this sorted too. I also want to use my PC to make calls from my Android phone! So much for the advanced features and abilities of Windows 10 …

“Not complicated”???
It’s insanely complicated. And it doesn’t work. The phone came up with the passkey message but the PC didn’t. Fail. An hour wasted 🙁

vkp

Thanks.. This article helped me a lot. Need to really quick in accepting the passkey

Peter

once I confirm the code (shown on my Samsung S6 edge) on my pc doesn’t accept that code.

Dave

Abosuletely nothing ever shows up after hitting connect bluetooth or other device. Not my Galaxy Note 9, not my IPhone, not my Plantronics headset, not my speaker, nothing, ever. P.S. reCaptcha sucks.

Maybe your Bluetooth chip is broken and no longer works?

Noone Important

It seems useless

I used to do this all the time but I noticed lately this doesn’t work anymore! I tried 3 phones and 3 computers and every combination…not one of them worked. The PC says it’s connected and ready but the phone says “cannot connect”. Every time. Check it out…I haven’t found anybody that can make it work! All using Samsung phones so far though…

I was able to “pair” by using the “reset” settings on the Samsung phone, as described in this article. But from there it is a little awkward. I wanted to transfer files from phone to computer. To do this (in Win 10): Settings>Devices>Bluetooth & other Devices. Scroll down nearly to bottom of screen where you see links in blue typeface. Click on “Send or Receive Files via Bluetooth”. A notification that the file has been sent quickly displays on your computer.
This works but more cumbersome that simply having direct access to contents of phone from your computer.

Allow mobile to be remote control on a media play PC

Pairing was the easy part. The A20 is paired with my PC.

NOW WHAT? I want to get my photos off the phone. How do I make the PC get to the right place on the phone?

I have the same problem with the USB cable.

I want to transfer my photos to my PC

I want connect my Bluetooth on my Samsung A32 android phone to my work laptop so that i can work from home. The only internet option in my rural town is DSL & their service is terrible.
