Microsoft creates open source offshoot - Most news websites ignored this. However, I found it interesting. Imagine this: Microsoft has created a subsidiary which aims to make it easier and faster to iterate and release open source software, participate in existing open source efforts, and accept contributions from the community. Think of how Microsoft was 10 years ago. Would you have imagined this possible? It’s yet another clear sign that Microsoft is transforming in a good way.

Introducing Google Drive... yes, really - If you are a heavy Google user, like myself, you should give this new service a try.
