Best of the Web for Windows Users – 24 – 30 June 2013

This week blogger-programmer Scott Hanselman took a look at the preview for Windows 8.1 and found it much to his liking, while Microsoft showed users what they have to look forward to with the Internet Explorer 11. Microsoft's top managers are worrying over CEO Steve Ballmer's plans to restructure the company at senior executive level, while The Verge spoke to one of the Windows Phone's product managers about their smartphone's ascent to number 3 in the mobile market. According to data analysis by Ars Technica, the Xbox 360 might become the most sold console in the US by the end of the year and the same website pondered the future of television in the internet age.
